My breathing becomes shallow and fast as fear grips my being. My
eyes staring back into soulless, blank orbs. The stench of death
overwhelms as this rotting creature stumbles closer. I'm paralyzed, not
even the thought of safety passes through my mind. Without warning, an
arrow whizzes by and embeds itself into a nearby tree, inches from my
head. "Run, you fool!" rings through my head. I turn on my heels and
run like I've never run before. Crashing through the forest,
desperately trying to get away with only the light of the half moon
guiding me. As I turn to see if that horrid monster was behind me, I'm
struck...
